Nick Cave will return to Australia in April 2024 for a run of rare solo shows; performing in Melbourne (The Plenary, April 25 and 26) and Sydney (State Theatre, April 29 and 30). He will be accompanied by Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass guitar. These shows follow an acclaimed tour of North America which saw Cave and Greenwood delight fans and media alike with their extraordinary presentation of Cave’s extensive and enduring catalogue. .

Accessible Seating & Companion Card Holders: Some accessible seating can be purchased online. Bookings including a Companion Card ticket can only be collected from the Box Office. The Companion Card must be presented upon collection. Call Ticketmaster’s Accessible Seating line on 1300 446 925 for Accessible / Companion Card & Hearing Loop bookings or information. There is a minimum of 20 stairs to the Dress Circle and Stalls. Patrons needing easy access seats should book for the Mezzanine. Row H has no stairs. There are 2 stairs per row from the back row (eg row G has 2 stairs, row F has 4 stairs etc)

Our preferred Car Park is located at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). The entry to the car park is via York Street, with the option to self-park or utilize the valet parking service. Please present your parking ticket at the Theatre Manager Office to validate your parking for a discount rate of $12 during weeknights (entry after 5pm) and weekends. Is there seating available for individuals with accessibility needs in State Theatre, Sydney?
Wheelchair and disabled seating through the State Theatre. Call 1300 446 925 OR 02 8272 2700 for bookings. Due to heritage restrictions the State theatre currently has no hearing loop or disabled toilet within the theatre. Access to the State Theatre is on Market Street with seating on ground level.
