The Chats are an Australian punk rock band from Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The current line up consists of Eamon Sandwith (vocals, bass), Josh Hardy (guitar), and Matt Boggis (drums). Initially formed in 2016, they gained popularity after the song Smoko became a viral sensation. To date, they have released two EPs, The Chats and Get This In Ya, and two full length albums, High Risk Behaviour and GET FUCKED. Original guitarist Josh Price left the band December 2020 for personal reasons.

The current band lineup is composed of guitarist Josh Hardy, drummer Matt Boggis, and bassist and vocalist Eamon Sandwith. Known for their songs about Australian culture, they initially went viral for their song "Smoko" and its music video in 2017, and later with "Pub Feed" in 2019.
