Russell Morris (born July 1948) is an Australian singer-songwriter, who had many Australian #1 singles all through the late Sixties and early Seventies. His most profitable tune was The Actual Factor, written by Johnny Younger, and produced by Ian Meldrum. It was the most important promoting Australian Single of 1969, and was launched when Morris was 20 years outdated. On 1 July 2008, the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) recognised Morris' status when he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
